I think you can use baby vicks vapor rub after 3 months. My son has had a cold and ear infection almost every other month in his life. Cold meds do NOT help and they can be dangerous. Johnson's vapor bath did well for us. Use a vaporizer and elevate him somehow when he sleeps. That should help. He also might be teething early. Some babies(like mine) have stuffy and runny noses while starting to teeth. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need advice on any thing else.

let it pass. if it continues for a prolonged period of time go see your doctor. tis the season for a nasty bug for babies called RSV. it can start with a cold then get bad quickly. classic symptoms start witha stuffy nose but then you will start to hear your child breathing with difficulty. not trying to scare you but most people don't know about it. But more than likely you got a little water up there and your child 's body is doing the work that it needs to get that foreign body out. Try use a bulb syringe to suck the mucus out, but be careful not to over do it, you could hurt the baby nose. Hope that helps at least a little.

DONT give him medication. He doesnt need any. Use an aspirator to suck it out for him. If it gets worse, get some regular saline solution, squirt it in and suck it out. It'll stop the cold, and stop anything that can drip into his lungs.

If you're very concerned, or he has fever, take him to the doctor.
