I washed my nursing school uniforms and didn't realize that I had left a tube of Chapstick in my pocket. Well, needless to say, there are unsightly little spots all over my uniforms. Which, is unacceptable and if I don't get it out by Monday, I will be in serious trouble. I have read the various Chapstick/clothing related articles and it seems there are several treatments. My uniforms are blue/white. They are a cotton/poly blend. I cannot use bleach or anything that will discolor them. One of my instructors suggested "Goo gone", but it didn't work. I'm not sure what else to do.

As a Mother of a L.P.N. I am sooooo happy to try to help you so you don't cry or have a nervous breakdown! I know these things!
especially the nervous breakdown while studying part!
So get Cascade dishwasher detergent!
It is for electric dishwashers, and comes in small individual packets bagged in multi pack Called Cascade, 2 in 1 Action Pacs.

Take one of the pacs and disolve it in the bath tub. Then soak your uniform in it. OVER NIGHT is best! After that take the uniform out wash it in cool water in the Washing machine.
LINE dry it!!!!!!!!!!! Do not use a dryer. That is because if any chap stick is left the dryer will set it for ever!!!!!!!!

Nurse mommy, heard it all! Hope this helps!
Be an R.N., they call my daughter a pretend nurse by the way!

I dont understand why you're asking this question particularly... are you speaking severe nursing uniforms or ones for play?! severe nursing uniforms, white, knee length dress. Button up alongside the front. Small pleat alongside the back and likewise on the backside of the skirt on the back. Crisp collars.
