I'm a tortured soul who grew up in Romania where snow would reach 1+ meters in the winters...and now I'm living in Texas - where it's 85 degrees for crying out loud. I feel like getting in my car and driving to Colorado right freakin now to cool down. Yes, I am ready for a COLD winter...bring it on. Let is snow, sleet and freeze.

I am a Kiwi and looking forward to summer
Last winter wasnt too bad max - 6 or so
Winter before was a real bit*h, snowed in on lifstyle block for two days, No power, phone or running water for 5 and we were the lucky ones, many others were 10 -15 days
But need cold winter for plants/trees to set up for the spring
ie No cold winter No spring display

Eastern Ontario, Canada - and yes - I'm ready - I just hope it does get cold instead of raining! Nothing worse than really cold temps, and bloody rain - Depressing. It's November; give me the snow, and brighten things up. And for extra fun this winter, lets do the Ice Storm again!!!! That was fun, kinda - but hard on the poor trees. Oops, I just remembered - I have to go throw a log on the fire...

Well the question is kind of obscure, but I live in Northern Massachusetts on the New Hampshire border.
My garden is mulched in.
My storm windows are down.
The plastic is up on the storm windows that are not tight.
I have 500 gallons of oil before the price rose.
I have sweaters, and slippers, and woolly bathrobes, and good quilts
Every winter is a cold winter, so I guess I am as ready as I ever am.

Minnesota. Yes I'm ready. Would like to see plenty of snow this winter as well. Last several winters have not snowed very much. Would like to see it snow like when I was still in school. I like the snow, it is another beautiful part of Gods magnificent handy work.
