I don't know. I've shown signs of starting my period since I was 10. I haven't started yet and in about a month or two I will be 14. Is this unusual? When is it normal to start?

well everyone is different..... i heard that some people have it when they r 20. Usually the period time is 10-15 though. Dont worry everything will be okk

You will have your period around the same time your mom did. Its not unusual to not get your period at the age of 14. I didn't have mine until i was 14-15 years old. Some girls don't have theres till there 18, its very rare but true. Your period can start anywhere from around age 9 or 10 to like i said age 18. Hope this helps

Yes this can be very normal. Every girl get's it at a different age, some don't even get it untill they are 16! You probably will get it soon, from what you are saying, i think you are looking for your period to happen. Don't do that, you can get yourself worked up and stressed out, trust me you don't want it anywyas. It's going to happen when it happens. Plus some girls don't get any symptoms at all, when i first got mine, there were no symptoms, yet i had been looking for it too.
Trust me, it's gunna happen when it happens.

I have the same thing going on as you. I also heard that you have to weigh a certain amount or your period won't start. If you're skinny(like moi) you might want to gain some extra lbs.

It all depends on how quickly your body develops. Usually, your period starts when you get hair on your legs and your breasts start to develop. Everyone's different. Some girls can start at nine years old! And other girls may not get theirs until seventeen. It just depends on how quickly your body changes.

13 is the average, but you don't need to worry until you are at least 16 and haven't had it yet.

dont worry! u have until u are around 15 or 16 til u need to panic... iwas 14 when i started...
i thought i never get mine, now i WISH i never had it! lol

that's exactly wat happened to me ...............but i got mines in between 15-16 ............don't worry its normal
