i've liked it every time i did it. i grew up as a military brat. in that environment, you come in contact with so many other kids from all over the world and of all nationalities. you get to see good and bad examples of people from every race so you don't form a bunch of stupid stereotypes as a result of a sheltered or one-race environment. i'm a black girl and i've dated:

-white guys
-black guys
-mixed guys
-one portuguese guy
-one hawiian guy
-one spanish guy

i've never understood people's reluctance to find love outside their race. love is hard enough to find. why make it harder by eliminating a whole chunk of the population?

I am 5 different races and I have no other race that applies to this. If I was only 1 race I would still say yes to dating other races. I live in Northern California and I like to think that we got over the race thing a long time ago. If you are going to inner mix you must be prepared for the ugly hateful people of this world. I don't know why other people think it's THEIR business about dating other races other than your own.

If you are from a small town the issue may be bigger than you think. In the big city people don't even look twice at you when your with another race. Be prepared either way.

Dating someone of another race is fine. I have no problem dating someone of another race or culture if there is chemistry. I feel that they must also have a lot of respect for me as I do with them and having respect starts in the home at an early age. It starts with parents teaching their children to appreciate and love one another. If you respect people, no matter what their ethnicity, dating outside your race should not be a problem.

honestly i have no problems with it at all,
but then again my great granpas on both my moms side and my dads side are both native american. i have cousins that are 1/2 mexican 1/2 polish. other cousins that are 1/2 mexican 1/2 german, more that are 1/2 mexican 1/2 puerto rican, some that are also 1/2 mexican 1/2 black. so i have a pretty mutlicultural family and racism or prejudices were never part of our upbringings.
I feel if you really care for someone or love them, it shouldnt matter what the color of their skin is, the shape of their eyes, the texture of their hair, or their background religion is because all of that is just extras that you guys can chose to put aside.

Color is only skin deep. It shouldn't matter what color you are. It is about the person you are inside. I am currently in an interracial relationship and it is weird when we go out in public and see people staring at us because we don't even see color we just know we love each other

i have dated like 3 asian guys, and it's difficult because their parents only want them to date asian gals. one of the guy's parents loved me. the other two were evil. so it's hard when the cultures are so different. sometimes it works out, most of the time, not.
i don't have anything against it though, it's interesting becasue they can teach each other new things and learn new things, and when it works out, it's great. ppl getting along from completely different cultures, and the kids are so cute too. but it's hard for me, myself.

good thing i'm engaged to someone like me!

Well, I like guys of other races, but the thought of us dating brings a bit of worry and confusion. I normally don't care about what people think, yet in that situation, I feel like people will be constantly talking about us and how we don't look right together, etc. etc.
