...If the money was right? I've heard that female actresses earn up to $6000 per scene. Would you be willing to do the job if offered this kind of money and given the opportunity to choose your male co-star as well? I'd be interested to know just how many of you out there would be adventurous enough to take the plunge.

Absolutely not. I would feel so violated and being a rape victim as a child makes it even more of an issue. I know a lot of women say they could, but if you have ever watched interviews with former porn stars who got out, you will hear a lot of the same thing. They started doing drugs to numb themselves to it, to black it out. They still feel vile and disgusting because it is in print for all to see forever.

that $6000 is very unrealistic. truth of the matter is, you have to start from the bottom and work your way up like all jobs. Denzel and Halle didnt make a million+ on their first gig. Porn actresses make very little per scene especially the low budget ones. Some women especially in underdeveloped countries such as Brazil make probably less than $100 per scene. IF actresses are making $6000 per scene they are highly experienced and have been in the game for a while. Also that money can come from endorsements and book deals so there is no legitimate proof that they receive that much. With that being said, i do not think any of us females are experienced porn actresses that would make $6000 so having a man or two pop in our face, give us a risk of AIDS and STD's and do other degradable sexual acts to us for the low wage appropriate is not worth it. At least not to me.......what exactly is the price for your body and health? Its sad to say that in our society now, the price isnt much.....

I may be technically a virgin, but for $6000 I'd probably be willing to lose it in a porn film, provided I could choose the male co-star.
If I didn't have the power to veto a male star, no choice, then I wouldn't.
And of course he would have to be screened for STDs and use protection, otherwise no.

No, I'd rather be a hard working teacher who is a role model to her students and her own kids
but .. I will not judge porn stars and say that everyone is what the stereotype is

No. While I have no problem with pornographic movies, have even seen a few myself, I would have no desire to work in the industry. I'm quite happy with my own job.
