I really want to take acting classes, and i ws wondering, is it better to take private acting classes? Or is it better to take them with a group of people? Or is there even a difference?

You take group classes as an ongoing thing but you arrange for private coaching when you have an audition. You need to work with other people and you need that general feedback. Actors need an audience as well as other actors to play off of. Half of acting is reacting... (such a typical line, but it's true!)

According to my sons agent if you are under the age of 13 you should take privates because children pick up bad acting habits from watching other kids. I personally witnessed this in his acting classes before we discovered that.

a group of people for sure. Working in a group will help you in so many more ways than a private lesson. You can become comfortable performing in front of others, work on acting and reacting, and so many other things! You can perform skits and all kinds of stuff. It is also a lot of fun. I guarantee it!

Group of people. Because if somone has a question, then the answer might help you a lot. Also, becasue you get to experience w/ other people and it's more fun. on the other hand, one-on-one help is good two =)

I prefer on group of people because it's fun, learning their acting skill, and have a good time.

def a group of people .. my acting workshop is amazing .. not only do I learn from my work, but I get to watch others work and hear what they are doing wrong or right, and make sure I dont make the same mistake ... ya kno

with people, because that will help you with getting rid of stage freight, and you have some examples to take, so you ca look at people that have already gotten the hang of it and you can get used to whta it will actually be like if you ever act. you will always have people around you, youd better get used to it now.
