I did a cartoon on socialism:A system in which society, usually in the form of the government, owns and controls the means of production.
I drew a us flag with a finger pointing at an assembly line...would this be correct? The US had socialism at one point right?

No, the United States NEVER had socialism. Although, sometimes the government seems that way.

Your cartoon would be correct if the United States were socialist. The United States is primarily capitalistic - privately owned means of production.
As such, the United States has arguably become the greatest nation on earth. Unfortunately, the socialism movement in this country has garnered a great number of so called liberals to its agenda. For example, everyday we hear more about socialized medicine.

Is the factory & the assembly line ( that the workers work on) own by the workers? Showing an assembly line in your cartoon doesn't mean anything. Socialism to my knowledge is " All for All". US is pure Captilism. Never was a Socialist State & never will be, because of its greed & policies that manipulate the working class.

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents, and false government.

You better do some research on socialism and on capitalism. The U.S.A. is a capitalist country, and a great country at that.
