Treatments For Hyperhidrosis
If hyperhidrosis is secondary to any other conditions, then clearly, those need to be treated first. If there is no apparent cause, symptomatic measures are usually taken.
Aluminum Chloride
One of the most effective agents for sweating of the hands and armpits is aluminum chloride solution (Drysol, Xerac). It's controversial how exactly aluminum chloride works, but it's thought to block sweat gland pores. After three treatments per week, most patients experience decreased sweating. These medications best work in the evening, when sweat glands activity is at a minimum. Some antiperspirants for the armpit are just as effective and can be easily purchased over the counter.
Iontophoresis
Iontophoresis is a procedure where electrical current is applied to block the sweat glands. Palms and soles that are sweaty are placed in an electrolyte solution and are soaked up to twenty minutes. One drawback is that it requires multiple treatments before it can be effective, but can last for up to a month once established.
Botulinum Toxin
Used in the realm of muscle spasms and skin wrinkles, botulinum toxin is a neurotoxic substance that has been found to be successful in treating hyperhidrosis, with the procedure lasting up to 12 months of dryness. Drawbacks include its expensive cost and the number of treatments needed for its success.
Surgery
For severe hyperhidrosis, surgery may be the only option. Removal of armpit sweat glands can significantly decrease the amount of sweating. Sympathectomy or upper thoracic ganglionectomy are surgeries that can help severe palmar hyperhidrosis, but this procedure often has high complication rates. Liposuction is a possible alternative as well.

Ok this is an answer i think everyone should know.
You have whats called hyperhyndrosis, i had it too.
Your body in certian areas creates more sweat than it's suppoesed too. the exact root of it isnt' known, but many times if you have been stressed, or had anxiety ie from being bullied at school, or always wondering what people think or you, or stress, also it could just be your body. There are many reason for the cause but now it doesn't matter because you have it.
this will not go away over night, it can last from 4-years, to the rest of your life, i personally had it for 5 years before i got tired of it.
there are treatments for it. You can get your sweat glands removed in that area, not all of them but most of them. this is a permanent solution, you will have scars but after a year or two they fade alot, but not cmpletly. or you can do botox, this is very expensive, upwards of 700$ easy, and not even permantent, it can last from 3 months... to 6 months max...
a doctor may try to put you on anti depressants, if they do that SEEK A SECOND OPINION!! i was put on them and the side effects were crazy bad ie. made me have depression. and THEY DO NOT WORK!!
The best advice i can give you for now is to wear black shirts, or layer your clothes, also sometimes if you but baby powder over the area it can slow it down... but not by much...
I'm sorry that you have to go through with this because it really sucks.. i hated it.. but be happy, some people get it on their hands, or on their backs... there isn't really a treatment for that....
anyways i hope this helps. i know it sucks i went through it. but i'm telling you, if you can get the surgery, i did it 2 years ago, and it's made me so much happier! i've forgotten what life is like with it.

Try using Certain-dri. it's an underarm perspirant that you put on at night, you put it on [DO NOT SHOWER AT NIGHT] let it dry out, put your jammie shirt on, and fall asleep. it's suppose to make the pores in your armpits smaller, that way you don't sweat as much. Then in the morning, put on your normal deoderant. i use mitchum for women, which you can find at any drug store, walgreens, cvs, walmart, anything of that sort. i love both, i use to have a really bad sweating problem, and lemme tell you, certain dri was a GODSEND. no more sweat OR stinkiness. good luck.

Alright, I had this problem for the longest time but I found the perfect solution. Don't try those "clinical" deodorants. If you check the label it's the same ingredient in those as it is in the regular, only a tad more. Get "Certain Dri". It's about 5 bucks for a bottle of it. Wear it every other night and your deodorant in the morning. Be careful if you have sensitive skin though, and it may burn a little but it stopped my sweating completely.

I have heard that there is a procedure where they can inject collagen into your sweat glands to stop this problem. If you have tried all of the deodorants I don't think there is much else out there to help. Believe it or not a lot of people have a problem with excessive perspiration.

You can actually get botox to your armpits that will help cut down sweating. There is also a condition that includes armpits, face, and hand sweating that can be treated by a vascular specialist. Try using the new secret clinical strength. Baby powder to armpits, under breasts, etc.

Mitchum I think you can get at any drug store nowadays. It truly is the best. Its motto is "so effective you could skip a day," and when I started using it, I really could skip a day. It was awesome! And this coming from a girl who used to apply the regular antiperspirant and deodorant formula four or five times a day!

That happens to me too! It is so embarassing. Even when I'm cold I sweat. I have to be careful what shirts I wear, because someone might see. I try to wear black and white because of it.
Good Question.

I've seen Mitchum at WalMart. A long time ago a doctor recommeded that to me. In the 1970's!! It really IS great, after all these years!!
You should be able to find Mitchum at any large drug store. It's a blue-green color. Good luck!! :)

You can try using baby powder to see if that helps but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on to cause the excess sweating.
