I am a poor Canadian that grew up watching really moderate somewhat stuffy and very secular Cdn news

I put Fox on and watched the "news"

The girl fidgeted in her seat with emotion as she gave more of an opinion than a fact

The interviews were conducted in such a bias manner that durring a tweo person pannel one was consistanty cut off as the other guy was blatantly approached as some kind of hero - And this formula is repettitive throughout the show

Wow what an overly bias sounding cult broadcast of hidden religious dogma's mixed with opinionated twists to every fact

The list just goes on at first I thought I was watching some spoof comedy show

Who believes this "stuff" or thinks of it as news ? How many of them are there that don't realise as entertaining as it may be it is pure cultish emotion and at best a /political religous satire

I think it's a travesty. It's skewed a lot of people's opinions.

Having an education in broadcasting, I can see the bias in the television news more clearly now, FOX is almost the best it's fair and balanced especially compared to CNN, FSTV, and CBS.
One of the things one should know is the difference between the News and commentary. If you pay close attention to the news, you will see that CNN, FSTV and CBS use techniques of Bias like framing and gate keeping. FOX rarely does this, they tell it all. In the commentary FOX is opinionated but not in their news.
I suggest you read "Bias" by Bernard Goldberg and learn more about broadcast journalism.

If there was an interview, more than likely you were watching a news analysis program not the hard news programming. We give credit to people for being able to tell the difference but understand that after watching the CBC or CBS etc that it is hard to understand actual news because their stuff is pretty biased. CNN, MSNBC, FOX etc all have numerous news analysis programs (debating opinions) as well as hard news programming- learn the difference and you will be ok

Just for the record, Rupert Murdoch gave to Hillary Clinton

Maybe you could point out a concrete example of B.S. like Dan Blathers use of phony documents in an attempt to discredit a president at election time. I don't think so. I think you just want to hear reporting that mirrors your own beliefs.

I guess it all depends on the World View lens you watch with. Did you ever believe Dan Rather? Remember him? How about Walter Cronkite? Liberals all.

And yes, O'Reilly, Hannity & Colmes, all those are politcal OPINION shows - like the View, or Keith Olberman. Sheesh, when will people take a step back into reality?

You are in the minority, my friend! Fox News has blown all the main News Media (put together) right off the map! You must feel very lonely standing out there all alone. Or maybe you don't know news when you hear it! because you've been sold a load of goods from the liberal left. Wake up! the sky's falling around you.

I only listen to see what the corporate right wing want me to believe and to see what will be parroted by invited guests on every newsish station.

If you were enterained by FOX then you will really get a kick out of CNN or ABC, or CBS, or NBC or even PBS! Talk about Bias!

No, most Americans do NOT take Fox's right wing crap seriously.

Too many who do are on this site site because in the real world THEY are also not taken seriously.
