The Ocean cries from time to time. For the world, for herself. The Ocean is made up of the tears of times past, times gone and forgotten. Loves lost and lives made stagnate.
The Ocean can only go to the one place it knows it is where it can find solace. When it cries, to goes and comes to us...
....in our wakeful dreams we offer her council and only once the wrongs of the world are made right, then she returns back to her depths.

Um, its not like the ocean has legs, it cant really get up and leave, and also even if it could, it takes up so much of our earth that it would physically have no were to go.

The ocean is comprised of clouds' tears. When it rains, it's a cloud crying, but clouds have been around forever so that's why there are oceans as big as there are.
