my female mollie has scales that are turning colours like yellowish, then they turn red. and she's also floating vertically (just sitting with head towards water) then when she does get a burst of energy she swims erratically and then like floats back down from the surface. i have her in a breeding net. and she seems to be gulping/gasping, but she's RIGHT near the water return from the filter. i did 40% water change and added stress coat. it's 6:14pm so everything is closed so i can't go get aquarium salt or a ammonia test kit.

Get aquarium salt as well as maracyn TC
do another waterchange of 50%, put in 1 tablespoon of salt
per 5 gallons and start the treatment as directed
But do it for 10 days instead of only 5 days
You will most likely see that it get's worse before it gets better
Don't do any waterchanges when doing the treatment, but make sure you don't overdose the medication either
Once treatment is done, perform a 50% waterchange and follow up with 25% every 3 days until your water is clear again

Hope that helps
Good luck
