Errr ummm to me it's a mixed feeling. Don't really think tax money should be designated to any religious organization however they do run better social programs than any Federal and State run programs. So in way they are a better bang for the buck. But on the flip side using our tax dollars on group that may promote a religion is just plain wrong.

People seem so eager to forger that this nation was founded on christian principles, and that its constitution and law are based on those christian beliefs. So called liberals have even tried to shame the memories of some of our founding fathers such as Thomas Jefferson by claiming he was an athiest or some such thing and quoting his letter to that church about separation of church and state as if it were in support of keeping the church or religion out of our schools and politics. Nothing could be further from the truth, we absolutely must involve our spiritual beliefs, our morals, our values and principles in how we run our schools and our nation. Faith based initiatives are a good idea. Not that I want the govt. to supply me a preacher or anything, just to have good people of faith become involved in their communities and nation.

As long as it's christian with a conservative tilt, they are for it. They don't want muslims using it though.

As a liberal, I'm totally against it. Keep religion and government seperate.

Great idea, assuming you're talking about Christian faith-based initiatives and not Islamic faith-based initiatives.

Not any better than Hillary Care. If I wanted to give money to charity, I could just write a check.
