Some people have different tastes is all...I went through my all black phases back in high school...now I wear some neutral colors, earth-tones....whatever is your style and someone else don't dig it that's they own problem...be happy being you, dress like ya want to...

Not 'everyone' hates the style.
Some just don't like the way 'emo' is. Which is fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I for one, don't find it attractive, and its the same. HOWEVER, I DO respect the individual if they respect me.

I once saw a girl, who had it down pat, exceedingly done well. And she was really happy. So it was great not to see the whole not "attention seeking" thing.
She was cute.

Everyone has their own opinion and YOU should not let it get to you. You have your OWN opinion and only your's matters the most. So if your into that style, continue with it.

I don't hate it, I just don't think it's that nice or attractive.
Why are you telling people on here to grow up when you obviously are insecure about looking/dressing that way or you wouldn't have asked everyones opinions in different questions. Who gives a sh1t what other people think of how you dress - dress in what makes you feel good, that's what matters.
But to answer your question, I don't like it much because I don't think it looks attractive, pretty, (whatever you want to call it) & it screams out identity crisis to me. Finding yourself & your identity as a person & expressing your individuality through clothes is fine, but I would do it in a way that looked nice! (no offence lol)

It's not the style that people dislike, it's the fact that middle-class rich kids think they've got major problems, and make a big deal out of feeling full of angst. Not to mention the attention-seeking behaviour, like posting pics of themselves and always complaining(!)

Go live in inner city London in a tenement block, then you'll know what problems are.

To be honest id rather see you out than a chav in all honesty! I see chavs and i feel ill but if i see a grunger or emo i usually tend 2 b more attentive towards them. I find them cool really as they do what they want and their styles cool. Its not 4 me tho as its too morbid for me as thats what the style is but its funky and cool and I really admire you for not caring what people feel. I really couldnt care less what people think if your happy stop moaning and get out there and flaunt it girlie u look cool and funky! Better to be like u then look like a chav trampy thing

Ok well everybody isn't going to like every single style. Somepeople like the emo style some hate it. Some like the preppy style then again some hate it. Ok. I mean I personally like the style. But thats just me.

Its really unique and you dont look like everyone else well atleast not at MY school:D
People probably dont like it because it makes you look like a mean or sad person but thats totally messed up people should get to know you before they start judging other people..

he's not probably hated. he's in all threat the main regular member of the band. he's basically very sturdy finding and gets numerous females. it somewhat is not probably a scandal, yet i think of you're touching on him being in contact with Caroline Flack (32). (he's 17, 18 on feb a million)

i like that style!! if you act emo than your emo. But if you act normal with that style than your not Emo. people just like to judge eachother by the way we look. Society can be a little cruel! But i think you look modern age rock! its cool!
