I never order the book & can't rember if they every said how many there where. I do remember the books being advertised & that Bob Vella was the one in the commercial.

I have no real clue; but I'm curious about your reason for the Q? You state you never ordered any, but must have a reason.

Bob Vila is a commercialist, capitalist, in my opinion.

With respect however; why not just go direct to the source, and ask?

Boy, I sure hope you don't use the books for restoration guidance! Bob Villa never did anything but strut around and massage his ego while he read from a script, and if you knew some of the behind the scenes horror stories, you'd understand my scepticism. I've watched him screw up lots of things they were too ignorant to pull off the air! They do things a lot differently today, realizing finally that restoration is more about preserving than it is about Remodelling (or remuddling as we call it!) One of the best general use books is the one by Readers Digest tht is about 8"hx 14" long x 2" thick and has a bright yellow cover. Covers the general idea well, but is basics only.
