I'm in a similar situation, sort of. I have been on the depo for over 4 years, and since we know we want to start trying to conceive in about a year, I switched to the pill to get my period regular again. I just started my 3rd month on Yaz and got my period (not at the right time, but still)...but for every woman it is different. Good luck getting back to normal soon. Keep us posted!

you're able to be pregnant. Take a attempt to work out in case you're or not. i substitute into on the dep. shot for 3 years and as quickly as i finished taking it i grew to become pregnant 11 months later. Depo-Provera isn't a sturdy selection in case you want to be pregnant interior the subsequent twelve months or 2. Why? because of the fact it normally takes 9 to 10 months to alter into pregnant once you end taking Depo-Provera as a contraceptive. it may even soak as much as 24 months after discontinuing use of Depo-Provera so you might substitute into pregnant. The length of time you utilize Depo-Provera has no result on how long it takes you to alter into pregnant.

I was taking ortho tri cyclen lo for 3 1/2 years and I stopped taking the pill in May and I still don't have a period. I went to the doctor and she put me on Provera to induce a period. I would wait a couple more months then go see a doctor.

I came off the depo in March, and still haven't had a period. I went to see my GP and they said it can take up to 2yrs for the hormones to be out of your system and as a general rule, they won't provide anything to help you ovulate for that 2yrs.
I hope your one of the lucky ones, we've been talking about another baby, but we're just having fun at the moment!
Good luck
