Use a hair dryer on high heat on a small area at a time. When the wax melts, wipe it up with a paper towel.

I bought a house from a guy who had candles everywhere and let them drip all over. That method worked to get the wax off painted surfaces, a wood floor, and slate tile.

heat the wax with a hair dryer, after it starts to melt,,, take a dab of baby oil on a rag and wipe off. this will stop it from sticking the next time,,, cheers,, and gl
