American values no longer exist. The phrase is an oxymoron.

The American values are not being spread by force. Two aggressive actions have occured, Iraq and Afghanistan. Each of those were based on aggression for defense. Iran is currently under sanctions that should pacify everyone. Pakistan and Turkey have their own problems and can deal with them internally.

I beleive the American values are the greatest in the world, but know one has the right to force them on someone by force. Part of the American values I hold dear is the right to choose, even if it is the wrong choice.
Which is why we do not go into countries and force them to adopt our ways.

Yes traditional American values are great. Unfortunately its the "other" values that are being forced on us..ie: gay marriages, sick parades in San Fran, Forcing radical islam on us, changing xmas celebrations and traditions on public property, removing 10 comandments plaque from courthouses.. and many more non-traditional american values.

American values really are that great, unfortunately I don't believe the Bush Administration is truly in touch with what American Values are.

American values are great. They are being spread because a ruthless dictator who killed tens of thousands of Iraquis has been dethroned and a new government free of dictatorship needs to be put in place. Otherwise a new dictator would rise to power.
