Funny ... I like Tuesday and Wednesday as given names. But somehow the edges of the week seem a little *too* unusual to me. And I love January and July as given names, but not October and February.

I guess if she was born on Friday, it would be fine. Clever even. Any of the other six days, though and you're in a bind.

Any chance you're having a scheduled C-section and can plan accordingly?

Personally, no, but Tuesday is a recognised name and as others have pointed out the girl in the Addams family is called Wednesday so why not Friday.

No I do not!
I think it can be a very adorable name, but trust me, kids will torture her if she had a name like that.
I like names of the months, especially April, May, and September to be used as girl's names, but I suggest you stay away from the days of the week.

No. Maybe for a nickname or for a pet's name but not for a baby's name. If you name your child Friday, it will be terribly hard for them to get anywhere in the business world. They need a good solid name, something that can be serious. Unless your child grows up to be a famous rapper or a famous actor or something, you will regret naming your baby after a day of the week. Don't they deserve a real name?

I love Friday, but not as a name for someone. What about a name of the month like April, June,or May.

You must be a neighbours fan which is full of silly names like sky, summer, pepper, stingray, stonefish, toadie et al - sorry Al.
Is that a male Friday or a female Friday?
Just invent one, without using an everyday word.

Terrible. Names of the days of the week are not to be used as names for children. Come on now!

I think it's a nice and slighly unusal name, that everyone can pronouce. However, I think you should only call your kid Friday if they were born on a Friday. But overall, it's up 2 you!!

Friday originally came from Freda's day.
Maybe try Freyda.
