A giraffe can run 32 mph. What is its speed in feet per second? Round to the nearest tenth.

1 mile = 5280 feet, 1 hour = 3600 second
Therefore 32mph = 32*5280/3600fps = 46.3fps
fps is feet per second

32 x 1760 x 3 / 60 / 60 = 46.93 ft/sec

1mph=1.467fps

to find this you say 1.467x32=46.93
