Okay, my mum's pregnant and I've been looking for girls names, and I think I found a combo I like that I'll show her. What do you think of Alessandra Skye? Alessandra is an Italian name, and my mom lived in Italy until after my sister and I were born, when she and my dad and my grandparents moved to America. Skye is just a pretty name. What do ya think? My sister is Kaitlyn, I'm Olivia, and my brother is Sam...do you think it goes with our names? Also, what would be a good nickname for Alessandra?

I think Alessandra Skye is a really lovely name. It's cute but still very classy. The only thing I have a problem with is the spelling of Alessandra. I prefer Alexandra Skye only becuase "Aless" is the name of some medicine or something. But if Alessandra is the Italian version, then go for it. Otherwise I prefer Alexandra.
Another realy why I love this name is because there are lots of nickname choices. I love Alex for a girl, and you could also call her Alexis, Lexi, Lexis, Sandy, Sandra and loads more.
I really suggest you show it to your mom because I think it's a gorgeous name. I love it, and I hope she will too :) Good luck!

Alessandra Skye is a great choice.
Ally would be the logical nickname.

It is a very pretty name, and it goes very well together. I personally don't love the name Skye, but it does go well with Alessandra. It also goes well with the names of your siblings, but it's longer, and may be difficult for her to learn how to spell.
I'm not very good at nicknames, but how about Allie?

I think if she went with Alessandra Skye she should be called Skye... that is a beautiful name.

i think Alessandra Skye is a really pretty name!
You probably want the italian name first but it might be eaier if you do Skye Alessandra.....but that is up to your mom (and maybe your family) (my name is olivia too....)
I am italian too....i really like the name too however i am not sure how you pronounce it and a nick name good be

I personally love Alessandra, as my middle name is Alexandra. A short form could be Allie, Alessa, Alex (maybe). I think Skye is a fitting middle name as well. Congrats to your mom!
