how can i get an upside down e on word?
i'm typing english words and how they are pronounced

I don't know how to type it, but there will be an option somewhere in your menubar called 'special characters' or 'insert>', maybe under Edit. Then see if there are categories. It will probably be under 'phonetic symbols' or something like that. I use a Mac, but there is something similar for Windows. I very much doubt you can easily type it. As you can see, there are all kinds of weird looking symbols: ə ɔ ɹ ʁ ɐ ʎ ƥ Yes, 'character map'. They are right.
