Maybe you can trade for something you are able to do? Sort of barter system where no money is required.

If you live in any city in the US over 50,000 population it receives community development block grant funds. Contact the city and see if they are using the funds for a home repair program in your neighborhood. Also contact your local community action agency, if they don't have a program right now, they will know if there is a home repair program available in your city. If you live in a rural area, contact the USDA Rural Development, they have a number of housing repair programs, some specifically for people with disabilities. Good luck.

Forgot to add, the community action agency would also know about who operates the weatherization assistance program in your area; that would likely address the front and rear door problem, as well as weatherize your home to save you energy $. Won't do anything about the plumbing though.

Check with your local county government for a Comm. On Aging office or find a social worker that might point you in the right direction. Most Comm. On Aging offices will have a section of the organization that providces repairs for safety and health issues to seniors and disabled folks, for a very nominal fee. They're probably all different so you'll need to check for your local setup. You might even ask a cop, they should know about any community programs available as well.
