Why are people so stupid that they think the only people in the Americas are from the United States?
Americans in Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, Canada and even in the United States do not believe that Iraq attacked the United States on 9/11/2001.
Afghanistan did not attack the United States either. The terrorists who attacked the United States were trained in and supported by the Taliban (student) government of Afghanistan.
Iraq was also supporting terrorism, in case you didn't notice Saddam Hussein paying people to blow themselves up.
How can people in the States be so totally ignorant and arrogant.

In a lib's mind, 9/11 never happened. But, to the rest of us that have an IQ higher than a can of spam, we all know who is responsible for 9/11. The problem is that the enemy we are fighting has no borders. For anybody to suggest that Iraq was the only country in the middle east that wasn't occupied by terrorists is about 51 cards short of a full deck. What, Iraq had magical walls around their border to keep the terrorists out??? C'mon, use some common sense.....

Afghanistan? Bin Laden is a Saudi, so were all but 2 of the hijackers that crashed the planes. Bin Laden was living in Afghanistan and in Pakistan prior to 911 with the protection of both countries. Saddam did not support Al Queda. Saddam was a two bit dictator who posed no serious threat to the US. Saddam was a convenient target to promote the Bush/Cheney imperialistic goal of a military base in the Middle East and control of the second largest oil reserves in the world.

I'm American & I knew from the moment Bush made his "Axis of Evil" State of the Union address, that it was the start of his marketing plan to justify starting a war in Iraq.
The following is well documented:
In November 2001, [Former House Speaker Newt] Gingrich told a NEWSWEEK reporter, "There's a feeling we've got to do something that counts -- and bombing caves [in Afghanistan] is not something that counts."
Former Counterterroism Chief Richard Clarke is on record that Donald Rumsfeld said, "'There aren't any good targets in Afghanistan..."

No one thinks Iraq caused 9/11!! Saddam Hussein was killing his own people (ie: Committing Terrorism).
BUT....(big but)
I still disagree with invading Iraq in the first place because Saddam was killing the ULTRA-Religious who want us dead more than he ever did. His government was secular (non religious) we have (almost successfully) put the religious freaks in charge now. How stupid was that?

I thought terrorism caused 9/11.We went into Iraq for the oil. If we leave, Iran controls the middle east and our oil supplies are cut off.
Does anybody have a horse they're not using?

Actually, if you go by logic, 15 of the people who hijacked planes and subsequently crashed them were from Saudi Arabia.
No fuzzy math there.
So to answer your question, I don't think Iraq was the cause.

apparently you are just a stupid as americans. If you read the reports our government has given us, the actual attacks were planned if pakistan. Afghanistan was just attakced because it was a taliban stronghold, the taliban had nothing to do with 9/11. But I guess myself, a stupid american, shouldn't be trying to explain things to you.

AMericans?? No way. Republican Americans, absolutely-one whacko makes the claim and the little Lemmings follow happily. And Cheney has always been happy to make a phony connection.

You do unfortunately hear that quite often. Remember that country song a few years back that asked us if we remembered that day. Everyone used that song as a theme song for the war.
The uneducated that believe everything the government (especially the Republican government) tells us are the fools that still blame 9/11 on the Iraqis.
EDIT: Please see Dirtbag's comments here. This is the unintelligent replies you get from SOME (not all) Republicans. Both sides have their extremists and morons. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071107150102AAY5hmc&r=w#IL58D1TOO2bsKx7mA4iT
