i got this weird problem with my browser it just started happening recently a pop up comes on the screen every time now telling me that my browser is infected and my performance is running slow is there any program out there that i can download free to get rid of the trojans if i do have any i have a spyware remover i'm using avg as the program to get rid of them but iunno whats going on can any one help??

Run your anti-spyware in Safe Mode.If you dont have an excellent anti-spyware or your current anti-spyware can't prevent spyware from Invading you computer,download a better one.

You can download and scan your computer for free.
As the computer is booting press your "F8 Key" repeatly which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" . Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.
After into safe mode,run an anti-spyware to remove the spyware and adware on you computer.
Make sure you have 1 or 2 antispyware on your computer and 1 antivirus and also 1 firewall.

This is a spyware infection.
Go to the web and search for Spybot: Search and Destroy.
Click the link for Safer Networking Org
Download and install the Spybot program..
They ask for a donation - but it in not mandatory.
When you get to the page with the mirror sites, stick with the safer network org mirrors as the others sometimes ask for a fee.
Run the program to remove the offending spyware.

If you get pop up a lot it means you have lot of spyware.
just download the free version of Ad-Aware and do a scan it should go away. so far i haven't seen any pop up automatically
opening on their own for months. i usually do a spyware scan once a day to keep it from building up.
