It's actually Dennis Dixon... not Dickson... and the Quarterback from Boston College is Matt Ryan...
Dennis Dixon is not the better quarterback he's the BEST Quarterback in College Football... Followed by Tim Tebow and then Matt Ryan... These 3 guys will be the top QB's in heisman race... But Darren Mcfadden will be the best RB in NCCA Foobtall and he might get it...
For the reason why Dennis Dixon is the Best QB in College... He Has Legs... He Can Run.. He runs the option better then anyone in college football... I'd take Matt Ryan's arm over Dixon's arm... But Dixon can run the option better then anyone in college football... (White and Slaton are a close second)...
Who would be a better QB in the NFL... Matt Ryan!

Dickson is the better college QB and will probably win the Heisman but Ryan has the skill set to play in the NFL. I don't see anyone in the years QB class actually becoming a star in the NFL. Some will get drafted, a few will sign a contract, the lucky one's will make the team and hold a clipboard and then get cut.

Dennis Dickson, he is the better of the two. He proved it because he beats higher ranked teams with composure. Matt Ryan Lost to FSU (my favorite college team). Lets face it Dickson is the Heisman favorite. Matt Ryan just doesn't have what it takes to beat better teams. Dickson can beat you in many ways while Ryan only can beat you by air.

I think Dennis Dickson is the better quarterback now because he is a better mobile QB and he has less INT, more TD, and more YRDS. Matt Ryan ( BC QB) will be bettter in the NFL because he is a pocket passer like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady ans they are usually more succestful!

Ummm first off its Dixon and Oregon...but College QB it is Dixon because he has the double threat of passing and running. He has turned what once what an average team in the nation into a legit national champion contender.
However, in the pros I think Matt Ryan will be better because he is bigger, can recognize defenses better and has a very strong arm. Not that it means much, but Ryan did poorly in games with insane amounts of rain and any non-ignorant person knows its hard to throw the ball in rain with two stellar defenses (VT and Florida State) especially when your team, like Boston College, is based around your QB.

For an offense that uses a QB with options of running or passing coupled with good running backs,, Dixon is best. Ryan would be a better QB with a team that needs a more pocket passer type QB. The most deadly of the two.. Dixon. He will hurt you quicker than Ryan will. His passing stats aren't staggering.. but his TD to INT ratio is great. He doesn't throw many int's.
I'll pick Dixon... he has also played a tougher schedule I think.

This is a loaded question. It all depends on what style offense. A spread type or moving the pocket around then it leans toward Dickson. If it is just a pro style offense (read defenses and straight drop back and throw) you lean towards Ryan. The style of offense matters.

i love bc and matt ryan and io wanted them to get to the national title game but the better qb as of right now is dickson cuz he got his team right there in the chance to play in the big game and they have beaten better teams record wise and dickson has 20 td to 3ints and ryan has 28 to 21 ratio but ryan did lead his team to a victory late in vt game which says he has composure and leadership skills which u havent gotten to see yet out of dickson cuz his team is better
