I love it :)
It sounds cute and it's not really that common. Plus you could have a lot of cute nicknames with that, like Bree or Anne.
In my opinion it's a lot better than Brianna or Brianne because there's too much of those. Breanne is an adorable name but not to the point that it's unprofessional and kiddish sounding.
I really like it and I think a perfect middle name would be Breanne Rae or Breanne May. A simple one syllable middle name preferably ending in an -ay sound would be the best.
I love the name Breanne and I suggest your mom's friend to go with it!

I love the name Breanne, but I like it spelled Brianne instead. I DON'T like Brianna though. I'm not really sure why. It's just really trendy I guess. But tell her to go for Breanne. It's a super pretty name!
