you can take a pregnancy test as soon as the day comes you are supposed to have your period and don't...there are some test on th the market that claim to tell you up to 4 days before your missed period if you are pregnant...

I have done this a couple of times accidently while on the pill & asked my dr about it ( I never fell pregnant though) He said it is possible but more likely if you miss the pills at the begining of the pack eg after the sugar pills because the hormones wear off & gives your body more of a chance to ovulate then if you miss pills at the middle or end of the pack.Don't worry too much or stress yourself out.Take a preg test a few days after your period is due if you want to be sure.

No, your never 100 percent safe. If you missed even one pill, theres a chance of pregnancy. Cross your fingers that you missed the bullet this time and consider goin with depo vera if you have issues with remembering to take the pills, or always use a condom as well...if nothing else its double the protection. But congrats on knowing to take some forum of birth control until you're ready to be a parent...very few do nowadays!!

Safe? No. Pregnant - maybe. Depends on when in your cycle you had sex. It sounds like you had sex at just the right time to get pregnant.

Safe from STDs? Absolutely not. If you're this casual about sex and you've been doing it for a year, odds are good you've picked up something by now.

Actually, since sperm can live inside a woman for up to 5 days you are NOT safe. Continue taking the rest of your pills, but get into your doctor next week for a blood test.

I don't know how you could miss two pills on the same day. Aren't your pills supposed to be taken daily? If you missed two, you had missed one earlier I assume, which makes it even less likely that you are "safe" from pregnancy. You'll just have to wait to see if you miss your period and take a test.

No, you're not "safe" .. you're not even "safe" if you take ALL the pills. The pill is not 100% eaffective, and if you don't take them the SAME time everyday, they are even less effective. I'm assuming since you forgot to take a couple pills, I doubt you take them the SAME time everyday.
There is a very good chance you are pregnant! (being on the pill and missing pills makes you even MORE fertile!)
good luck with that.

I have a child from trying to "catch up" on pills. It's not guaranteed that you would be pregnant because of this, that really depends on your ovulation cycle. But I learned the hard way (and why I stopped with the pill) that if you don't take it just about the time EVERY day, that you have just canceled out the whole month. They only tell you to "catch up" to keep you on your schedule.

well then yes unfortunatley you are at risk for being pregnant. Wait a coulple days after your missed period then take a pregnancy test. Even if you are not pregnant you are still at risk for STDs. Hopefully neither of these things will occur from this one time. Next time make sure to use protection. I hope everything works out!

Bsed upon your general description it seems you are inquiring as to the possibility of pregnancy NOT an STD we must presume you are in a monogamous relationship.

If not, you are playing Russian Roulette with not only your own health but every other person in your family, infants and grandparents in particular whose weaker immune systems can easily succumb to herpes or hepatitis that you endanger them with by engaging in casual unprotected sex
