You should be concentrating on school, extracurricular activities, sports and social fuctioons. Keep sex for when you are old enought to support a family on your own, A 16 year old boy will say I'm sorry and go back to his video games while you're in labor.
To a kid support cosists of chips and soda, use the sense you were born with, if you aren't going to do that go to planned parenthood first and be safe.

It's probably more about what you want from a relationship and what he wants. Of course there's the basic 'are you compatable?' thing. But there is also the question of if he wants sex. You're pretty young to go there. I mean, there's a whole lot to life and there are a lot of ways to have a blast that don't include sex. ... Think of it on some very down to earth terms to decide if the age difference is a big deal - and more to the point if there are things he or you will want/expect in the relationship that the other can't or doesn't want to "provide".
Sounds like you have a pretty good head on your shoulders. Good luck!

That's not a big age difference. I know here in America some people make a big deal out of it, if the age difference is greater than 1 or 2 years (especially high school) but it is so not.
I grew up in Europe and I can tell you girls over there always go out with older guys. 5 years is not unusual. So go for it. Women (girls) mature so much faster than boys do in your age, so us girls don't even have a choice. Good luck ;) xoxo

No I don't think so. Last year my freshman friend went out with a senior. It was pretty low key but no one really made a scene about it. If you both like each other and you think you're ready then go for it. What's the worst that could happen honestly?
Good luck with your choice!
xoxo

It just depends on whether or not you are compatible with each other. Are you both at the same level of maturity and do you have the same interests? The age range is fine.

That is some thing only you can decide. Do you think he is too old for you or is some else telling you that. As you get older age means less...
I would understand if your parants are not happy about that.

No. As you get older the age difference becomes less and less important.
