Why do they call Marcus "krispy kreme"?

All nicknames are explained in the first book of the series.

A Krispy Kreme is a brand of donut. Marcus is alleged to sleep around with dozens of girls. Therefore, in recognition of the dozens of "donuts" he's "won", this is his nickname.

Reputation is everything in high school, unfortunately.
