That music was, in dramatic terms, my life. Is there any way I can recover it? Maybe if I re-download Limewire it will return? Of maybe it's somewhere else on my computer? Can anyone help me? I will be eternally grateful.

I had it fixed at some shop because the internet switch didn't work. Now, randomly, Limewire is gone along with all of my music.

They could have reformatted the computer or system restored to a date before you had limewire/the music.

GO to Start, My computer, C Drive and on the left hand side menu is "search" then search for one of the songs you know you had. If the music is still on your computer, it will be found.

If You Had A 'LimeWire' Music Or Download File They Would Be There. IF HOWEVER, The Internet "Fix" Involved Deleting Corrupted Files They May Have Erased Them. If You Have A Music Utility Like Windows® Media Player Have It Look For All mp3 Files On Your Hard Drive.

Good-Luck!

The shop called themselves "policing" your system and deleted limewire because they thought/felt/assumed the downloads were illegal. Had it happen to a friend of mines...sorry to tell you

If they reformatted then you cant get it back, should have made backup files if it was that important. You'll get it back. Napster on the other hand...saves my PAID music even after i reformat all I have to do is download the program and log in again. Maybe try that next time? :)
