I can't see why this would be a problem under these circumstances. I think it's far better for you to be comfortable and to feel safe holding her if your blood sugar is down and it's her feeding time. I would try to plan ahead, though, as to avoid situations like this in the future.
It's my understanding that leaving a baby with a propped up bottle if they're laying down can lead to ear infections because of the way that they suck and the pressure it exerts on their ear canals. I'm not sure how this is affect in babies who are sitting up in carriers, or in swings.
I don't see anything wrong with doing it once in a while, I'd just avoid making it habit. Your baby loves the bonding time as much as you do :)

They say not too because of the risk of choking but I too get low blood sugar and get very shaky and feel very weak so I do occasionally when giving him a bottle prop it up and watch him. Or if im nursing him i prop him up with a pillow so i dont have to hold him. Obviously its not ok to leave them alone like that but I dont see the harm as long as your watching them.

I have a neck and shoulder injury from a car accident, I told my doctor I was proping the bottle up and watching him and she said that as long as I am watching and he is not flat on his back (for risk of ear infections) then he will be fine. Now he prefers to eat on his own or with me just holding the bottle, not him. He still loves to be held, just not while he is eating.

This is perfectly fine. I did this with my daughter often. She actually learned to hold her own bottle in due time. I used a swing that swivled, played music, and lite up a mobile. it is perfectly fine to prop up her bottle.
My doctor said that this also helped to teach my daughter to hold her own bottle. She was doing this at 4 mo.

If he's already 7 months, a number of the suffocation and choking negative aspects of propping have already dwindled because he can (likely) sit down unassisted and shop his head up. yet you're real to nonetheless supervise his efforts to hold the bottle himself. i think that in spite of if slightly you are able to hold a bottle all on their very very own you're able to nonetheless carry them collectively as they consume. i think of you're able to sit down and relax your son interior the criminal of one arm, and attempt to inspire him to wrap his palms around the bottle with the different hand. consistent with threat have your better half help. motivate him by potential of "letting" the bottle provide way slightly and see if he does not attempt to snatch for it. basically propping the bottle up on your chest won't do lots if he does not understand what he's meant to do to maintain it from falling.

Yes it is fine to do this. As my son got bigger I had to do this more often because of severe Carpal Tunnel. My hand and arm would go numb and I was afraid I was going to drop him. I would also sit in front of him and hold the bottle and rub his head. This also works in the car when they get hungry and you are driving. I had one of those bottle warmers that you plug into the lighter so I could warm it up for him.

Now that you are a mom, you need to take extra good care of yourself so that you are the best for your baby. That means taking the precaution to feed yourself before your blood sugar is so low that you are shaky. When it's time to feed your child you will be ready to be there her.

I think it is fine if you are supervising her.You are actually being safer if you feel too shaky. If it helps you do it & you are still getting some bonding time because you are watching her.

Yes, that's fine. As long as there's supervision, I wouldn't worry about it.
