Why do some people think it's wrong to be liberal?

It seems to me that the people who disagree with liberals think that we (yes, I'm very liberal) tend to think that liberal = no morals.

I don't think that's true. I consider myself, and a lot of liberals to be free thinkers, people who look at all perspectives of issues, people who try to promote equality, goodness, democracy, free speech, that everyone's voices are heard, and that people are educated on ALL perspectives. How is that a bad thing?

Those topics you listed are all good....its just how liberals try to get us there is what bothers me.
