Well, ive recently had my heater matrix replaced.. and since then my car temp has be very high.. on motorways nearly 100 dC.. is this normal? my fan kicks in at about 110 and cool it down a little..

the reason im asking is before this it would happily sit at 95 dC untill i get stuck in trafic (normal!)

what could be causing this?
i had 2 lots of bars leak stuff in the water, but this has now been drained.
any help would be awsome!

are your air blowers hot or cold??? if cold got a air lock in system...need to drain and add water/antifreeze... at a pace that the pump can take around engine..or use the bleed nipple on the rad,if the water and heaters are hot then your water loss is from the head gasket...as the coolant system is in-closed and pressurised to not boil over, yours is going some place..and if cream in oil or oil in water its ya head....

I would suspect that when you drained the system the bars leaks was exposed to the air and solidified in your radiator. Go to a RADIATOR SHOP and explain this to them. The radiator probably needs cleaned.
