my friend has a 6 year old and a 4 year old and is divorced. She is dating this guy who is controlling. She has an IUD (birth control) but has turned up pregnant. She also has a heart murmur and the doctor said she could die if she has another baby? Do u think she should have an abortion or try to keep the baby? I am just worried that if she goes through with the pregnancy , she could die and then her other 2 kids dont have a momma..........and then i dont want her attached to that controlling guy.......... but i also dont want her to have an abortion. I am confused.......

I think she should just have an abortion. I know it is deffinitely not right to have an abortion and kill a baby but in this situation it should be done. Especially if she has already got 2 kids and if she goes through with this, she could die. The kids need to be put first in this situation. You need to tell her that or maybe just talk to her more about it. Kids always need their mommy. Its not right without it, and its not fair, espescially if something could have been done about it. I feel bad for her, and right now shes lucky to have a friend like you to be thinking about her and worried about her :) Byeee <3

There is no way to carry a baby to term with the IUD still implanted in the uterus - it will cause fetal malformation. 99% of the time, the baby naturally aborts when the IUD is removed. Perhaps she should try the Ortho Norvum Shot?

Well, it's her decision, not yours. But first of all , if she is even considering keeping the baby, she needs to have the IUD removed immediately. She needs to decide what is best for her in the long run.

abortion is like murder......she should just have the baby but still take good care of herself and try to be as healthy as she can while she is preg.................
