Absolutely. A nice alternitive however would be release them into General population with Child Molester tatooed across their forehead. Ya, that would be nice.

Absolutely not. I know I'm in the minority with this viewpoint, but I think the status quo has gotten out of hand in their view of child molesters. Don't take this to mean I'm all for molesting children -- I think child molesters should be punished. I even used to monitor sex offenders on house arrest, and have issued warrants for their arrest, etc., but sexually molesting a child is nothing close to being a crime that warrants the death penalty.
A child's perception of being victimized is very likely to be brought on by other adults who treat them like victims, and consider the child to be "ruined," "impure," or as having "lost their innocence." Many of these children will likely grow up with normal psychology, but chalk-up any adversity to the fact that they were molested as a child and maybe use it to justify their misdeeds.

In any country, such as the UK, where the death penalty is not applied to murder, then it cannot be applied to any other crime, however revolting.
I do think, though, that it is time that killers and predators such as child abusers should be locked up for life.

As the survivor of childhood rape and rape as an adult and the victim of a husbands murder, NO I don't under any circumstances support the death penalty. I'm not the creator of the universe and only that person or those circumstances have the right to take back the life that they or it has given us. Killing them to me is just another form of murder. State sanctified murder but murder never the less.

I think the death penalty should be applied to crimes consisting of murder. Child molestors, however, should be sentenced to life in prison. In prison, they will be the ones being molested.

No. I support lifetime imprisonment (no parole, no fun amenities) in this case.
