I am dating a wonderful man. I've never been treated so well in my entire life; he treats me like a queen. When we started dating, I told him I wanted to get married someday (not necessarily to him). Recently, the issue came up again. He said he wanted to be with me forever. I feel that if he didn't want to ever get married, he would say so in response to what I want. My question is, do you think he'll marry me someday?

When i first started being in touch with my partner he said the same thing years later still nothing on commitment marriage men do say that always like it or not no man will ever say i dont want to ever get married no woman would ever go out with a man otherwise lol

Sounds there is a good chance he will be interested in marrying you, but you must give the relationship some time to evolve as the first stage is always the most romantic part of love. Nice like a nice guy, get to know him better, and see what happens. Best of luck to you!

You honestly NEVER know. I have dated several men who said that exact same thing to me, and we eventually broke up. My husband now didn't say that until he was proposing.
95% of people get married in their lifetime, so chances are he'll get married someday, or want it at some point. Whether it's with you, hard to say.

I doubt that anyone here can know that or even give you a guess... But if you have talked to him about it and he said he wants to be with you forever - don't you think that's a good sign?
Don't push the subject though - men need their time on that subject! Enjoy the fact that he treats you that well and see what happens!

Why does it matter? Enjoy what you have now. You can not rush someone into marrying you. Be happy that he is in your life and let things take their course. If he wants to be with you forever and HE said it then that tells you what he wants right?

It's possible. I'm not sure how long you guys have been together, but if for a while, you could always ask him how he would feel about you two getting married one day.

I would say don't push it. Some great relationships don't end in marriage. But since he's a great guy, and you get along so well, have a heart to heart talk and find out what's on his mind.

Sounds like it- hope for the best but expect the worse. Usually nice guys don't say something like that unless they mean it. Sometimes not-so-nice guys will say it to lead you on. But if this guy is as great as you say- I would guess that he means it! Have fun picking out china patterns!

If he said that he wants to be with you forever, you already know that it will lead to marriage. Just take it one day at a time. What's the rush? -Everything will be fine.
