MILF stands for "Mom I'd Like to F u c k." I first learned the phrase when I watched the American Pie movies a few years ago. In the song "Big Wheel" by Tori Amos, she refers to herself as a MILF.
I understand why your daughter didn't tell you what it meant, because I'm sure she felt uncomfortable explaining the meaning to you. Just don't pay attention to those immature boys.

Its a pop culture reference from the movie "american pie" The mother is a hot mom that younger men find attractive enough to ask out or you know. "do." the phrase was made so popular because of a scene where the guys meet Stiflers Mom, played by Jennifer Coolidge a fabulous character actor and say Stifler your mom is Hot! Shes a MILF!!
