As usual they just send a form letter referring you to the community guidelines. The only thing that changes is the signature.

Simple. Their network, their rules. Did you get your thank you for respecting these are private matters... letter from the Community Petition yesterday for Suth? We are merely players. Is it logical. No. But what do we know really about any of us that post here? Some like me wear their heart on the sleeve & open book. I'm not having any fun this week nor have I enjoyed some personal attacks and being accused of things. These violation notices will catch up with those who continue. I refuse to be upset again. Harassment is not within the playbook rules , whatever they are
I am glad you are safe. My hope is to also stay that way. It hardly seems right when you can not debate on here openly in fear of some sort of persecution. The sun's out and weather is cool & fine in Florida now. I may go outside with Mele alot more. Thanks.

They gave a reason alright, it was MIND YOUR OWN Business.
A fellow Conservative received the letter below from Yahoo for his complaint, I have not yet received my "notice" yet, just had a question removed when I found out that Alpha Male is also gone. His account was deleted about 30 minutes ago.
EDIT: Apparently, the Yamster has lawyered-up. Here is the lame-o response I received when I sent a petition protesting Suthrnlyts suspension:
Thank you for your concern regarding this community member, however, these discussions must remain between the account holder and us. We hope that you can understand our desire to protect their privacy.

I believe Brian was booted for cheating, voting on his own answers with multiple accounts.
I had always wondered how he had so many best answers in the short time he had been on the forum. His best answers were way out of proportion at 31%.
As to Suth's deletion, that makes no sense to me.

YA has NEVER given me a SPECIFIC reason for ANY of the "violations" or "suspensions" they've dumped on me.
So why should suth & brian be any different?

Unfortunately, Yahoo is an Incorporated entity and not beholden to anyone but it’s shareholders. Until the shareholders of Yahoo loose they’re Y! Accounts, I don’t foresee any “justice”.

I have no love for Yahoo's censorship methods but has it occurred to you that perhaps they're protecting those people from what could be a potentially embarrassing explanation?

Same thing happened to me.
I posted one day, and the next my whole account was gone.
I've violated terms before with my new account anfd they give me a warning... but that time, they deleted me and never acknowledged that I ever had the account, even thoug hI had it for 8 years.

all I've gotten from Yahoo is an email in reply to my email which said it was unfair of them to suspend Suthrn. The email basically told me to butt out and that it was none of my business.
I've disagreed with both of them at times, but Suthrn really is a nice person, once you get to know her. I never got to know Brian that well, but it's a shame he's gone too.
the report button has got to go from politics. These are OPINIONS, not necessarily facts, which we're giving in reply to questions here.

This is the reason I went to P&S. I just hit level six and I'd like to keep it that way for a while.
