I would probably most like to help people at random. For instance, when I see an elderly person buying his/her meager amount of groceries, I would love to be able to take them on a shopping spree and pay for it. Or, if I saw someone with an old beat-up car, I might like to buy them a new one. That sort of thing.

Good question. I would sort out my financial affairs then my family for taking care of me when I was short. My friends would benefit also as Ive had to lean on them at times. I would donate to the hospice where my mum was. Also to cancer research as they do so much for people. I would also look at charities that dont receive a lot and give them some. I dont want to be a millionaire, I just want to be happy. No need for people not to work unless they are unwell.

If i was a millionaire first person I would help would be my parents they are the ones that have thought me everything i know, and right now they might be going through some financial struggles so this would be of great help. I would also like to donate 10% to research on spinal cord injuries since I just suffered a spinal cord injury 7 months ago on a gunshot wound it would be very helpful for other people that go thru this... thanks

I guess it depends on what you mean by a millionaire. In case you haven't noticed a million dollars is not much money these days. If I was a multi-millionaire, I would definitely help my family first then after that homeless children starving on the streets.

Can you keep this question open for a while and give me time to think. £1,000,000 at 6% would bring in £60,000 a year - £5,000 a month - I suppose that would buy a decent doctor and solicitor. Then maybe if any cash was left I may help my family out. My brothers, sister, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and great great nephew. But they are young and healthy so why bother? lol

So many but first it would be my household...hubby and kids! Then it would trickle down to my sisters and their families...within reason. I'd not want to blow it all in a few months.
I'd continue in my works with the homeless and be able to provide more shelters and resources.
I'd invest it in a franchise that would for sure keep a great income coming in as well.

I would use the money for poor people in the US or dump people in the Philippines. I have been in the Philippines and I would love to see them fed instead of going to find their food in garbage. I would use some of it for myself but most of it for the poor and the needy. Nobody really cares for the poor and needy in other countries. I would probably give some to Samaritan's Purse who really helps people in other countries or here in the US who have been devastated with the hurricanes.

First of all, I would definitely help my immediate family first. Then I would help those who are not able help themselves financially. Like the hungry, homeless, and abused children. I would give therapy to help them slowly solve, or adjust their mental weight. Then help them with simple jobs to accomodate themselves in the future, and back to the society.
