my first real job was 2 summers ago in 2006. i worked at a resturant called Kathleen's. it was really fun, the hours were great, and i made a bundle in tips! i really liked working there however this past summer of 2007 i had an even better job working as a jr teacher at a professional daycare center . I love kids so that job was my life. when the summer ended, i almost cried! i didnt want my job to end. i really missed all the kids and i still visit them. that was my best hob and unfortunatley i dont work there now because i am in school again and i worked the morning shift. i wish i did still work there though.

It was 1998 ,I was in a foster home and I was 14.

I was riding my bike and saw a nice looking lady working on her car, I stopped and asked her if she needed any help.

My first job was to assist this "Single" lady in the neighborhood by fixing her car and cutting her grass and helping her with task around her house where she told me she took care of her grandmother or something because she never let me inside her house.

I always thought she lived alone and never asked. But...

Sometimes she would come outside wearing no underwear and no bra and sometimes she would bend over to pick things up and her butt would show and she would wear loose shirts showing her top ness.

She was a fine thick women in her early 30's or something.
I never asked her age.

I guess she felt comfortable.

She paid me $10 on days I would help.

The teacher at my school said he knew her.

I tried tracking her down but never found her.

I am 23 now and a student.

I loved this job and will never forget it.

I was a telemarketer taking inbound calls for many different products on TV, like the Ronco Food Dehydrator and MegaLoss Diet Pills. It was 1987 or 88, and I didn't like it at all. I work from home now as a programmer for a large health insurance company. I now make 7x what I made then, doing far less work. It's nice.

my first job was working inventory at best buy. and after working those long hard nights believe it or not its quite a bit of work to unload and reload trucks I looked around me and realized that there were nothing but older people working with me and i thought life would be miserable to wake up everyday and have this be your job. I always had a plan to go to school but its not till that point that i realized how much of a positive effect school can have on my life being one worth living. So know i have a dietetic nutritionist and i absolutely love getting up everyday and helping people!

It was in 1988 at WaldenKids. That place was great. I worked there until 1993. I spent the whole of high school life working at that kids bookstore. I miss it. It was the best job EVER.

Now I work in a corporate office, in a tiny cubicle and no windows....

Starbucks.
2006.
I sort of miss the people and I loved the 9 months that I was there. I just had to move closer to home.

I work at home now.
I don't have to drive to work, get ready for work. Just come home after school and work.
It's very relaxing.
I'm even working right now.

1989 .I was a dressing room attendant at retail store Weiners in Houston Texas .I hated the job cause customers are so nasty and rude and they have the worst kids in the world. I am a stay at home wife .An I love it and it's less stress of the job I had a human resource manager at this major Oil company.

1979 I was the cashier at the movie theater. The first weekend I worked was right after Apocalypse Now won all of those academy awards. I filled all 700 seats, twice that night.
