Somewhat colder than you have in Charleston. We were supposed to have had a light frost last night, but it wasn't hard enough to kill the impatiens I keep in a windowbox hanging from the front porch rails.
The house has felt chilly all day, and the outside temperature never got above 54. After the brutally hot summer, it will take a while to get accustomed to the cold.
In the summer, we keep the house at 77 up and down; in the winter, it's 71 upstairs and 72 down. That still feels chillly.

It is supposed to be minus 1C here (about 30 degrees Fahrenheit) with a chance of light snow overnight.
We were surrounded last night by a massive snowstorm that was burying the communities in a ring around us, from the south of Lake Huron to the New York side of Lake Erie...but only a very light dusting fell here in Toronto.
I have NO IDEA where the kids hats, gloves and boots are!

Actually, slk, that is a byproduct of global warming [too long to explain]...
It is supposed to go into the high 20's here in Virginia tonight. I may just have to break down and turn on the heat - at least for Mr .Tony who despite his fur and ample body gets cold easily!

Probably the mid-40's for Sacramento, that's what they've been saying all week. But with our luck it will either be 80 or 20, they never get it right. I swear 25 years ago they were better than they are today with all their hi-tech junk. Of course, despite the cold, I know where I'd rather be tonight!

I agree about the global warming...
It will be around 54 degrees tonight here in Florida. (A tad cool for us Floridians who are used to the heat and have to have a little time adjust to the cooler weather. :d )

I'm practically right next door to Iritadra so it will be c-c-cold tonight. Thank goodness for my electric blanket. The only problem is having to get up at 7:00 am! I just don't get it when people say they like winter.

I hope warmer. We dropped to freezing last night. I had to water my plants yesterday to protect them from the frost. It really did help a lot. The only thing that drooped a bit were the giant elephant ears, but they will go to sleep anyway. (Arkansas).
I brought all my ivy, wandering jew, and other delicate plants inside and I am really glad I did. They would have been past the point of sleeping, they would have had their life end.
Bye. Have a warm cuddly night inside your home.
