Yeah, it's s suburb that runs along Gratiot Ave. from 8 Mile Rd. (the Detroit border) to 10 Mile Rd.

I have been to Eastpointe before. It is a nice city with good places to eat.

it is just north of Detroit, north of of 8 mile ,
The residents had change the name of the city due to the fact of how bad the city of Detroit was becoming.
The high school is called East Detroit High home of the Shamrocks,,,

Yes, it is on the east side. It used to be know as East Detroit but they changed their name to distance themselves from the city of Detroit.
