While I really like both players, Jacoby Ellsbury showed everyone how skilled he was in playing center field. His fielding this year was amazing! So should he replace Coco Crisp? What do you think about this?

with injuries always affecting Drew and recently affecting Ramirez, it's not the worse idea to have 4 regulars.

I don't know why the 2nd answerer would think that
A) Ramirez could be traded
B) that the Red Sox want Arod.

For a 'floor' of $35 mil a year, you could get two quality players that will outperform what a single Arod could do.

And it's not like having Rodriguez will increase ticket sales in Boston.

Most likely you WILL see Ellsbury replacing Coco Crisp next season. Coco Crisp will most likely be traded because there are many teams in need of a center fielder right now. With a player like Ellsbury, the future is looking very bright.

Well his fielding was not only amazing, he batted over .350 in September as a rookie, and most games on the road! I love Coco but I definitely think that Ellsbury should replace Crisp in Center Field.

Yes, they should keep Ellsbury and let Crisp go. Ellsbury showed some great heart and he has a good bunch of veterans to help him out. Crisp is an overrated OF. Sure he can steal a base and his defense is above average but he doesn't get on base enough to compliment his speed.

i think you have to go with ellsbury, he has more speed than crisp and right now was hitting better he shown enough late in the year and oh my god the playoffs he was awesome, you got a trade possibility with crisp, he has 2 years left on his current contract for i believe 11 million, we might get someone for our bullpen because timlin is a free agent and he is 41 so im not sure what to do there, i tell ya its to bad we couldnt just keep crisp to come off the bench for a pinch runner or to hit, he is a switch hitter, but he'd never accept that assignment and he's not that kinda hitter

definitely, coco should be replaced with ellsbury, because coco can't hit the ball and got a low batting average. ellsbury would be better because is a good hitter runner and fielder. i think the redsox should trade coco for a back up for ellsbury if he gets injured.

Definitely...and with a few teams looking for a centerfielder the Sox might be able to get some good talent for Crisp.
