Anytime I have to face the music, I don't like the tune. I hate paying the consequences. But I do it just the same. (Own up, I mean!)

One night I leaped out of my bed and ran downstairs to a
fortified bunker with nothing more than my shorts as white hot steel shards snarled past. For two hours I huddled all but naked until the 'all clear' siren was heard. Thereafter, no matter how bad or loud the music I always responded fully dressed with a loaded weapon in my hands.

I usually have no choice but to face the music...even when the tune is not to my liking....one can run, but you sure can't hide!
Edit: - I had occasion to learn a lesson about 'hiding' from paying the piper...found out that there is true release in facing up to whatever it is...it usually turns out not to be nearly as bad as thought!

My girlfriend listens to some real garbage some times, so yeah, I have to face the music even when it sucks.

Yes, whatever it is I'd rather get it over with than having it always hanging over my head.
