Today was busy. I went with my best friend to her doctors appointment, she has a tumor growing on a spinal nerve, so that is going to be removed next week. Then we went to her family doctors appointment because her mammograms came back with calcification's, so more tests. Then we went shopping for nightgowns and robes for the hospital and got some groceries. I made lunch at her house and some iced tea for later. Now I am making spaghetti sauce tonight. Then I will start praying that the tumor is benign instead of malignant and she will not have any complications from the surgery.

You got reported for what? Asking a question about lazy Sunday? People, I swear!!
I really hate days like the one you had. I can only imagine how long and boring it was.
So relax, kick your heels up, maybe a glass of wine and have some fun:~)
Maybe tomorrow the diesel will arrive, then it's back to the grind.
Oh wow, four customers!!!
just kiddin:~)
I don't know how you can do retail
Maybe tomorrow you will have time to plan Thanksgiving Dinner and make a Christmas list:~)
You may even have time to paint some figurines for the Christmas tree.
Or, you could buy some gems from GoldWing and design some t-shirts or sweats

Poor Susie Q. Things can only get better? I had an awful day too. I was enrolled on a 2 day training course, at a local church - nice, I thought. Lunch time came and I went to a local cashpoint for £20.00. Machine kept my card, eeek, no money for lunch. Nice woman on the course lent me £10.00. Had to quickly drive home, to report the chewed card to HSBC. Will be 5 days before I get replacement card. Got back to the church, locked out for 40 minutes. Don't ask how I got back in. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better?

Sorry things are so slow for you, it makes for a long day.
My hubby and I went and got some breakfast. Then I went to the retirement center and the nursing home and visited the folks. I stopped on my way home to visit a neighbor, she's had some medical problems, but is doing better. I came home and returned 2 friend's phone calls. Now I'm doing laundry while I'm on here.

Not quite as busy as Sunday, but still occupied by taking my wife to the Hospital 30 miles away and walking the dog twice as I do every day, sending a present to my Granddaughter,it may not seem much but it all takes time.

Lazy day for me -- wife has a shopping day, so 'twas just the dog and me. We just lulled around, watched the boob for awhile, did a little yahoo and played a little poker.
For lunch we raided the refrigerator and enjoyed a few of the tidbits that we normally get nagged about (not sposed to have for your heart, weight, sugar, and so forth)

Sorry for your fuel troubles....must make it rough on the business. My day's been quiet here...a little laundry, a little cleaning, a quick run to the drug store and some time here on Answers
Hope that things get better and that you have a mad dash of customers tomorrow!

I had bills to pay so I always take the opportunity to go out and pay them in person. I then lounge around town in all the nice shops and sometimes treat myself to lunch. Today I had company, my cousin was here from NY so it was a nice change.
