Does anyone think that sacrificing Goats to the Norse god Odin is a bad thing?

Actually, a horse would be a more fitting sacrifice to Odin, goats were more sacred to Thor. The ancients used to sacrifice and eat the flesh of the slaughtered animal on certain days and feasts associated with the god (which is one reason why the eating of horse flesh was banned for so many centruies in Europe)

No animal sacrifice is not a bad thing as long as you eat the meat..and the meat is DELICIOUS!
Where do you people think your cheeseburgers come from? People kill animals & eat their flesh! I am sure Odin would be happy with the sacrifice, besides an animal sacrificed in a ritual manner is by far more humane than animals slaughtered at a slaughterhouse, or factory farm...

He's a freakin myth so whatever. Do what you want but...killing animals is the same thing as killing humans, the same punishment, unless you do it for a reason...
