They already get to play in the Toilet Bowl.
Why isn't there a Cereal Bowl?
Campbell's should sponsor a Soup Bowl, maybe in the swamp?
How about a Fruit Bowl?

well...they would have to play COMPETITIVE college football, in other words score more than 13 points and actually win 6 or more games.
Also, Notre Dame would never play in the SEC for a couple of reasons: regionally, they wouldn't play in the South-Eastern Conference, if they HAD to be in a conference (which I think they should be) they would probably be in the Big Ten, maybe if we stretch, the Big East. The second reason? They don't want to be in one because they can't compete in ANY conference in the NCAA, except maybe C-USA. They wouldn't be able to dominate recruiting and they'd have to give up all their rivalry games (Mich St, Stanford, Air Force, Navy, Army, USC, etc).

Another Pac-10 or Big 10 jealous person?
Just because the SEC is the best conference - top-to-bottom?

not with their record; they would have to be at least a .500 team with some good conference wins against the SEC.

No, you don't get a bowl for going winless, which is what they would be if they were in the SEC.

rofl! stop eating the green crayons, they are affecting your motor functions.
then again, we are kicking kentucky out of the league at the end of this year, so ND could fill in (but that wouldn't be much of an improvement over UK)

No, with their rankings there is no way in hell they could get a bowl bid, they're losing to everybody, regardless of conference.

no, because they wouldn't win 6 games - and if they played LSU, Florida, GA, and Bama instead of 4 Big 10 teams, they would have been beaten even worse.

no, they have to become bowl eligible first, which definitely wouldn't happen in the SEC, they can't even do it as an independent
