Another movie that is tattooed into my memory was "The Karate Kid", we sat in the theater and watched it 3 times straight through.. I loved it..
Oh and Fabey, you are thinking of "Red Dawn" that was pretty good..

I liked all the movies that the "Brat Pack" put out, Sixteen Candles, St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, etc. Oh yeah, I love The Goonies.

Search for the Lost Ark, Airplane, Missing is action, Rambos, James Bond's, Rainman, Top Gun , Back to the Future movies just to name a few these were all adventure / sci-fi/ action movies
