Rebecca - sorry I wasn't more clear...I'm just looking for a movie that deals with someone who has special needs (disabled) and that goes to school (a child with special needs)

I don't know if it actually "deals" with it, but in What's Eating Gilbert Grape", Leonardo Dicaprio plays a mentally challenged teen. It's a great movie!

There's an excellent HBO documentary called "Educating Peter" that is incredibly eye-opening. It deals with one school's attempt to "integrate" a special needs child into a regular classroom.
